Description
Dombra is Kazakh musical instrument, which remains in its original form.
On the front side (obverse) of the coin, in a circle in its front part, there is the inscription “500 TENGE” in two lines, indicating the denomination of the coin. Under the denomination are the inscriptions “Ag 925” and “24 gr.”, indicating the metal from which the coin is made, its fineness and weight. Along the circumference on the matted surface there is a pressed inscription “REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN” in Kazakh and English. On the right side of the circle is an old man playing the dombra under a branchy tree.
On the reverse side of the coin there is a relief image of three varieties of the Kazakh national instrument – the dombra. In the upper right sector of the coin there is an image of a scroll with a staff and below it the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint. The number “2002” is depicted vertically at the top, indicating the year of minting. On the left side, on the matted surface, around the circumference is the inscription “DOMBYRA – DOMBRA” in the state and English languages. The letters of the inscription are relief.

The coin comes in capsule with certificate of authencity (COA) and in original box.
