Description

The name “AQYQ” is derived from the Kazakh word, which refers to semi-precious stones of the chalcedony group, often used in jewelry and decorative objects. The coin’s design incorporates elements of traditional Kazakh jewelry-making, including granulation, intricate ornamentation on the reverse side, and the technique of inlaying carnelian. A hole at the top of the coin allows it to be worn as a pendant on a chain or cord.
