Description

On the front side (obverse) of the coins in the right part is the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a collage of animals and plants, on the left is the image of the trademark of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the inscription “100 TEŃGE”, indicating the denomination of the coin. Around the circumference of the coin inscriptions “QAZAQSTAN ULTTYQ BANKI” and “NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN”.

On the reverse of the coins there is an image of kulans against the background of a steppe landscape, in the upper part of the coins there are inscriptions EQUUS HEMIONUS (the Latin name of the species), in the lower part – QULAN.
