Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

Averse: the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it  face value “50 TENGE”. From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend “NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN”.

Reverse: composition of symbols of Victory in the center, dates to the left and to the right ‘1945’ and ‘2010’ mean the year of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and year of coinage, inscription ’65 years of Great Victory’ above and under the principal image in Kazakh and in Russian ‘65 YEARS OF GREAT VICTORY’.
