Description

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,37 gram.

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription “50 TENGE”. From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend “National Bank of Kazakhstan”.

On the back side of the coin, on its central part there is an image of Patriotic War Order against a background of moire ribbon. On the upper part there is an inscription in Kazakh language “60 years of the Great Victory”, on the lower part there is the same inscription in Russian and figures “1945-2005” indicates the year of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the year of coinage.
